Home Secretary: Adjournment should be sought in McKinnon case
Theresa May has agreed that an adjournment should be sought in the extradition case of Gary McKinnon.

The Home Secretary has considered the proposal from Mr McKinnon’s legal team and has agreed an adjournment should be sought. An application to the court is being made today.

The US has been seeking to extradite Mr McKinnon from the UK to face trial for hacking into sensitive US government computers.
