TheUKgovernment recognises that theCBAMis of significant internationalinterest and we want to continue to engage withinternationalstakeholders who have an interest in the functioning of theUKCBAM. This is why, at Autumn Budget 2024, the government announced the introduction of the UK CBAM international group.
Thisgroupwill serve as a forum through which theUKgovernment can communicate updates toUKCBAMpolicy design. It will also serve as a feedback forum where it would be helpful for us to gather views from other governments.Countries are invited to apply for membership to this group via the email address set out in the Terms of Reference. Thegroupwill meet at least annually with the possibility of further meetings where needed.
