We update the Environment Agency executive directors and the board every 3 months on corporate scorecard progress. Our corporate scorecard enables us to monitor how well we (the Environment Agency) are achieving our stated aims as set out in the Environment Agency action plan. We also share this with the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra).

Quarterly reporting periods for 2023 to 2024

• quarter one starts 1 April 2023 and ends 30 June 2023
• quarter two starts 1 July 2023 and ends 30 September 2023
• quarter three starts 1 October 2023 and ends 31 December 2023
• quarter four starts 1 January 2024 and ends 31 March 2024

Note: the year end is 31 March 2024.
