2012/13 GMS Contract Negotiations

This letter from Dame Barbara Hakin, National Managing Director of Commissioning Development, provides the outcome of negotiations between the BMA General Practitioners Committee (GPC) and NHS Employers on amendments that will apply to GMS contractual arrangements in England from April 2012.

Agreement has been reached with the GPC on a number of changes to the GMS contract for 2012-13.

The letter provides information on the broad terms that have been agreed with the GPC, and  gives advance notice of the changes that will need to be made.
