Appeal for information about dumped waste
The Environment Agency is asking the public to come forward with any information about waste that was illegally dumped in Shifnal

The large amount of shredded household skip waste was illegally dumped at a unit in Lamledge Lane, Shifnal. It is believed the waste was delivered to the unit sometime between September and November 2014 using large articulated lorries.

Environment Agency officers are seeking any information from individuals or businesses who may have been approached asking for units in which to carry out waste baling trials or equipment to bale waste in the Telford / Shrewsbury area.

Anyone with any information should call the Environment Agency’s 24 hour incident hotline on 0800 80 70 60 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
