This report sets out the findings of the Commissioners review and makes recommendations for the improvement of childrens social care services in Halton.
It follows areport by Ofstedthat judged the overall effectiveness of the councils childrens services to be inadequate.
The Department for Education issued astatutory direction to Halton Borough Councilin August 2024 and issued a revised statutory direction in February 2025.
