February 2025 - DCMS Sectors Economic Estimates: DCMS overall including tourism
This is an ad-hoc release that provides economic estimates for DCMS as a whole, including tourism. These estimates are based on tourism data published in the Office for National Statistics (ONS)UK Tourism Satellite Account (UK-TSA) 2022andprovisional UK TSA indicator 2023, as well as data used to produce our DCMS sector Economic Estimates: Annual GVA 2023 - data table only and DCMS sector Economic Estimates: Employment, January to December 2023 publications. This release includes estimates for:
- Gross Value Added (GVA), 2022, and provisional estimates for 2023, for DCMS sectors overall in current prices.
- Employment (number of filled jobs), 2022, and provisional estimates for 2023 for the tourism sector and DCMS sectors overall.
These statistics will be presented alongside our regular official statistics in due course.
