These reports were produced by the Infected Blood Inquiry Response Expert Group, which was established to advise on the design of a compensation scheme for the victims of infected blood.
The Expert Group, chaired by Professor Sir Jonathan Montgomery, brought together legal and clinical experts who were assisted by care specialists.
The recommendations made by the Expert Group have informed the design of theInfected Blood Compensation Schemeannounced in May 2024.
