The Animal and Plant Health Agency (APHA) is creating a list of businesses that have been authorised to sell plants by distance contract. For example, online or by mail order. The list will say which businesses are approved to sell plants by distance contract.

Get authorised to issue plant passports

Your business must be authorised to issue plant passports before you can join APHAs list of authorised distance plant sellers.Find out how to become authorised to issue plant passports.

Before you start

You will need your APHA customer reference number. This is the number you received when you registered as a professional operator. Its the same as the number on your plant passport labels.

Youll also need your business:

  • trade name
  • address
  • contact number
  • email address

If approved, APHA will add the following information to the list:

  • your business trade name
  • the city where your business is located
  • your APHA customer reference number
