Meat exported to Great Britain must be accompanied by the relevant health certificate. Exporters should read the guide on how to complete a health certificate.

Must be used from 30 April 2024 by all countries.

Model health certificate for animal casings (Decision 2003/779) (CAS).

Certificate GBHC371

Must be used from 30 April 2024 by all countries.

Model health certificate for animal casings for transit or storage (Decision 2003/779) (CAS-T/S).

Certificate GBHC372

Must be used from 30 April 2024 by all countries.

Model health certificate for transit or storage of fresh meat (Regulation 206/2010) (FM-T/S).

Certificate GBHC373

Must be used from 30 April 2024 by all countries.

Model health certificate for fresh meat, excluding offal and minced meat, of farmed non-domestic animals of the order Artiodactyla (excluding bovine animals (including Bison and Bubalus species and their cross-breeds), Ovis aries, Capra hircus, Suidae and Tayassuidae), and of the families Rhinocerotidae and Elephantidae (Regulation 206/2010) (RUF).

Certificate GBHC374

Must be used from 30 April 2024 by all countries.

Model health certificate for fresh meat, excluding offal and minced meat, of wild non-domestic animals of the order Artiodactyla (excluding bovine animals (including Bison and Bubalus species and their cross-breeds), Ovis aries, Capra hircus, Suidae and Tayassuidae), and of the families Rhinocerotidae and Elephantidae (Regulation 206/2010) (RUW).

Must be used from 30 April 2024 by all countries.

Model health certificate for fresh meat, excluding minced meat, of domestic solipeds (Equus caballus, Equus asinus and their cross-breeds) (Regulation 206/2010) (EQU).

Certificate GBHC376

Must be used from 30 April 2024 by all countries.

Model health certificate for fresh meat, excluding offal and minced meat, of wild solipeds belonging to the subgenus Hippotigris (zebra) (Regulation 206/2010) (EQW).

Must be used from 30 April 2024 by all countries.

Non-EU countries can continue using certificates ending in X or start using the new certificates. We will communicate the deadline for switching to the new certificates in due course.
