We’re looking for a confident and enthusiastic individual to help protect and enhance the reputation of the three Accident Investigation Branches. This newly created position is varied and interesting, and will give the successful candidate the opportunity to work across aviation, maritime and rail transport sectors.
Responsibilities will include:
- Responding to media enquiries, working with our team of inspectors and senior managers to agree responses that inform our stakeholders.
- Devise creative communications activity that maximises awareness of our investigation reports.
- Work with colleagues to plan and create content to communicate our safety messages in the most effective way.
- Produce high quality written materials (press releases, opinion pieces, blogs and social media posts) for different platforms that ensure our messages reach the audiences who need to be aware of them.
- Monitoring and evaluating our communications activity so that we keep abreast of emerging stories and ensure that we are maximising our communications output.
