The service is delivered in collaboration with We are Digital, Scottish Library & Information Council and Migrant Help UK.

Get Assisted Digital support to use UKVIs online services if you are in the UK and you do not have the appropriate access, skills or confidence to use a computer or mobile device to complete an online immigration application form.

The help we provide

  • telephone support from a skilled Migrant Help UK advisor who will help you use a computer or mobile device to complete your application form online

  • face to face support at a library to use a computer or mobile device to access and complete the online form you can contact a participating library or We are Digital to book an appointment

  • face to face support at home to use a computer or mobile device to complete the form a We Are Digital tutor will visit you in your home and help you complete your online application form

This service does not provide immigration advice

You cannot get help from the Assisted Digital service if you need immigration advice (for example, advice on which immigration form you need to complete) or you need an update on the progress of an immigration application you have already submitted.

Help for customers applying through the following routes

  • Tier 1 (entrepreneurs or exceptional talent)
  • Tier 2 (people working in the UK)
  • Tier 4 (people studying in the UK)

If you have a sponsor, you should first ask for their help to complete your online immigration application.

If you do not have a sponsor, or if your sponsor tells you that they cannot help you use a computer or mobile device to make your application, you should contact We are Digital for Assisted Digital support
