The rules are used in the following types of case:

  • copyright licensing
  • electronic communications and postal services
  • environment
  • estate agents
  • exam board
  • food
  • gambling
  • immigration services
  • information rights
  • pensions regulation
  • professional regulation
  • transport

The rules include how to appeal, how hearings are conducted, and how the tribunal reaches decisions.

These rules, in effect from April 2013, include changes to the original rules made since 2010.
