Details

This document is for organisations that want to apply for a sponsorship licence. It is an appendix to the full policy guidance on sponsoring a worker or student.

It lists the documents you must provide to support your application for a sponsor licence.

  1. Tables 1, 3 and 4 were updated to reflect the introduction of the new Scale-up route, clarification that the articles of association must be for overseas businesses and that VAT registration details can be checked online.

  2. Guidance has been updated to remove references to obtaining an endorsement letter for the UK Expansion Worker route from another government department. Full changes detailed in the 'Changes from last version of this guidance' section.

  3. Updated guidance for use on or after 6 April 2022.

  4. Updated guidance reflects the introduction of the new International Sportsperson and Creative Worker routes, and the rebranding of the other former T5 (Temporary Worker) routes.
