Details

Read this guidance if youre a farmer, or an agent acting on behalf of a farmer, interested in applying for a Slurry Infrastructure grant.

The grant is available to pig farmers and beef and dairy cattle farmers whose farming systems produce slurry. You can use the grant to help replace, build additional, expand or cover existing slurry stores to reach the grant storage requirements:

  • 6 months for beef and dairy cattle
  • 8 months for pigs

This grant is competitive. If oversubscribed, the Rural Payments Agency (RPA) will prioritise projects that have the greatest environmental outcomes based on their location.

Youll need to follow a 3-stage application process.

The first stage of the application process, the online checker, is now closed. RPA will assess the applications received and email applicants with a decision.

Slurry Infrastructure grant Round 1

The Slurry Infrastructure grant Round 1 online checker is now closed for applications. If you have been invited to complete a Round 1 full application, you should continue to use the Round 1 guidance.
