Details

The Government is planning to mark the Queens Platinum Jubilee with a one-off additional bank holiday on Friday, 3rd June 2022. The late May bank holiday will also be moved to Thursday, 2nd June for 2022 only.

The IA is fit for purpose. This measure falls outside the scope of the Better Regulation Framework; however, the RPC appreciates the opportunity to scrutinise this IA as we did with the IA for the previous Jubilee Bank Holiday in 2012.
