Section 6: The classification wording amended to You need to tell us which goods and services you are going to use your trade mark for. Goods and Services are classified in an internationally agreed list of classes. For information on how we classify: visit How to classify trade marks - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk) You must tell us which class your goods and services belong in e.g. Class 25, Clothes. You can search and classify goods and services using our classification search tool Search UK trade mark classes. Visit Search UK trade mark classes by word or phrase Search UK trade mark classes GOV.UK (search-uk-trade-mark-classes.service.gov.uk).
A new end page has been added. This contains a checklist and sending instructions. Supporting text added to questions that required further clarification.
Edited Section 10 The special arrangements allowing customers to file a UK right and claim the earlier filing date of the pending EU application ended on the 30 September, this option has been removed from the form.
Form TM3 fee sheet amended.
