The Countryside Stewardship (CS) Capital Grants 2023 manual consists of:

Use the guidance to apply for a CS Capital Grant from 5 January 2023.

Capital Grants are 3-year agreements offering capital items to achieve specific environmental benefits within 4 groups:
- boundaries, trees and orchards
- improved water quality
- improved air quality
- improved natural flood management
You can also apply for other CS capital grants at any time of the year.
Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) participants can apply for CS Capital Grants (SFI pilot) on land which is not being used for the SFI pilot.
