This Notice replaces MGN 442 and should be read with the Large Yacht Helideck Safety Training Syllabus.
This document provides guidance on the training standards for Helicopter Landing Officers (HLOs) and Helideck Assistants (HDA) working on large commercial yachts with helicopter decks complying with the Red Ensign Group (REG) Yacht Code.
This notice is to:
- all yacht captains
- yacht managers
- training providers
- yacht crew involved in helicopter operations
