Details

From 1 April 2023 we will accept applications for the Trust Capacity Fund (TCaF) for 2023 to 2025. This fund will be for growth projects approved by a regional director from 1 January 2023.

The above TCaF guidance is for the application window that closed on 16 December 2022. New guidance will be issued shortly.

We have committed up to 86 million in trust capacity funding until March 2025, focused particularly on education investment areas (EIAs).

Funding will be available over 2 financial years, where appropriate. We will particularly welcome applications for projects which involve groups of schools. Further details and guidance will be published in due course.

We have published the methodology and datasets used to identify education investment areas and priority areas.

There are also separate lists of TCaF award recipients from 2019 to 2023. The use of any information sent to us is governed by the privacy policy.
