Experimental statistics on the number of grants awarded for the installation of electric vehicle charging devices in the UK in July 2022, broken down by local authority.

The Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV) provides grants to support the use of electric vehicles, including the installation of charging devices. This summary covers statistics on grant schemes, including the:

  • Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme (EVHS)
  • Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS)
  • On-Street Residential Chargepoint Scheme (ORCS)
  • Domestic Recharging Scheme (DRS), the predecessor to the EVHS

Please note the new electric vehicle chargepoint grant, which has replaced EVHS on 1 April 2022 will be included in the November 2022 publication.
