Guidance: Nuclear Cooperation Agreements: implementation guidelines for operators from 2021

The UK and the European Atomic Energy Community (Euratom) have agreed a Nuclear Cooperation Agreement (NCA). This guidance is in the process of being updated.

This joint BEIS / ONR guidance covers future reporting requirements for operators. These reporting requirements will allow the UK to comply with Nuclear Cooperation Agreements and other obligations arising from international trade following the UKs withdrawal from the European Atomic Energy Community (Euratom).

The guidance covers a number of areas, including:

It will take effect from 1 January 2021.
