Details

This guidance supports schools in making statutory teacher assessment judgements at the end of KS2, and schools and local authorities in undertaking statutory moderation of these judgements.

Guidance for the optional key stage 1 assessment in the academic year 2023 to 2024 will be available in the autumn.

  1. The date for local authorities to begin informing schools if they will receive an external moderation visit for teacher assessment has changed from Friday 10 May to Friday 17 May.
