The Secretary General of ASEAN, Dr Kao Kim Hourn, visited the UK on 1-3 November 2023. During his visit, he:
- met Deputy Prime Minister Oliver Dowden, reaffirming ASEAN and the UKs growing partnership since theUK became anASEANDialogue Partnerin 2021
- discussed progress on the ambitious ASEAN-UKPlan of Action (2022-2026) with four UK Ministers
- celebrated ASEAN-UK cooperation on global health, science and technology at a reception hosted by Minister Will Quince
