Between then and the general election on 7 May is the pre-election period and the Civil Service communicates less, in line with Cabinet Office General Election Guidance.
So you wont be hearing much from us in the 5 weeks up to the election, unless its to provide information essential to continuing the governments day-to-day work. That applies to the Marine Management Organisation (MMO) website, blog and social media channels Twitter, Facebook and Linkedin.
That doesnt mean were not doing anything. Our work will continue through the pre-election period. We just wont be talking about it much in the run-up to the election.
