Details

Under The Environmental Civil Sanctions (England) Order 2010 and The Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016, the Environment Agency is required to publish details of:

  • enforcement undertaking offers they have accepted
  • civil sanctions they have imposed

  1. Added the enforcement undertakings for 1 June 2023 to 31 October 2023.

  2. Added the enforcement undertakings and civil sanctions for 1 January 2023 to 31 May 2023.

  3. Added the enforcement undertakings for 1 October to 31 December 2022. Removed the civil sanctions for 10 September 2021 to 30 September 2022.

  4. Added 'Enforcement undertakings accepted by the Environment Agency 1 June 2022 to 30 September 2022' and 'Variable Monetary Penalties accepted by the Environment Agency 10 September 2021 to 30 September 2022'.

  5. Added 'Enforcement undertakings accepted by the Environment Agency: 1 January 2022 to 31 May 2022'.

  6. Added 'Enforcement undertakings accepted by the Environment Agency: 10 September 2021 to 31 December 2021'.

  7. Added 'Enforcement undertakings accepted by the Environment Agency: 1 April 2021 to 9 September 2021' and 'Civil sanctions imposed by the Environment Agency: 1 April 2021 to 9 September 2021'.

  8. Amended the text under Anglian Water Services Limited (reference 709) from 'It relates to sewage pollution incidents on Billing Brook' to 'It relates to suspended solids pollution incidents on Billing Brook'.

  9. Added enforcement undertakings accepted by the Environment Agency: 1 October 2020 to 31 March 2021.

  10. Amended reference 650 - Healthy Kids Limited - who will register as a packaging producer with the Environment Agency not EcoVeritas compliance scheme.

  11. We have published details of the Enforcement undertakings we have accepted from 1 June to 30 September 2020.

  12. We have published details of the Enforcement Undertakings accepted by the Environment Agency between 1 December 2019 and 31 May 2020.

  13. Updated the offer by Wessex Water Services Limited (Brean Merry Bee Sewage Pumping Station) - reference 494 - they donated 50,000 to Somerset Catchment Partnership.
