Details

This form enables a probate practitioner to give up their role permanently as an executor to get probate to manage the estate of someone whos died. Legal professionals must be named in the will as an executor and work in a firm as a:

  • partner
  • member
  • shareholder
  • director

If youre a partner, member, shareholder or director in a firm giving up your right as an executor

  1. download form PA17
  2. fill in all sections
  3. hand sign and date the application
  4. get your witness to hand sign and date the application
  5. give the completed form to the executor whos applying for probate
