Details
The NTP provides schools with funding for targeted academic support for pupils who need additional help with their learning.
The programme offers 3 routes:
- school-led tutoring
- tuition partners
- academic mentors
This evaluation used a mixed-methods approach to explore:
- how schools implemented these routes
- the experiences of school staff, delivery partners and Department for Education staff
Findings from year 2 of the NTP in 2021 to 2022 are also available.
