GLD acquires Manchester office space

GLD has signed an agreement with HMRC for colleagues to move into Three New Bailey, Salford, Greater Manchester in April 2023. The expansion of GLD in the North West complements existing offices in Bristol, Leeds, and London.

GLD is the governments principal legal adviser and is made up of up of nearly 3,000 colleagues with over 2,500 lawyers. Advising on the some of the most complex, demanding and varied legal issues of the day, our lawyers represent the government in cases ranging from education to transport and help bring the governments legislative agenda to fruition.

Treasury Solicitor and Permanent Secretary of the Government Legal Department Susanna McGibbon has commented on this exciting move for GLD:
