Marine Accident Investigation Branch
Your key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

leading on procurement for the branch under the supervision of the Head of Business Support and supported by commercial colleagues within the Department when required

acting as head of section for the Business Support team includingthe line managementof the Finance Manager and the Business Support Officer
-
supporting the senior management team, having daily contact with both the Chief and Deputy Chief Inspector of Marine Accidents, assisting with diary management and other organisational matters
-
working closely with the Finance Manager to deliver monthly financial reports to senior management highlighting key observations and any anomalies
-
overseeing and managing the responses to freedom of information requests
-
overseeing the timely production of the MAIB Annual Report and other ad hoc projects within the branch
