You can now keep up to date with the digital transformation of the justice system by registering for online alerts from the new Inside HMCTS blog.
This follows on from the governments commitment to an investment of nearly 1bn in HMCTS to modernise and improve the delivery of justice.
More than 700m is being invested in implementing these changes through the HMCTS Reform Programme.
Another 270m is being spent developing a unified, digital, criminal case management system called the Common Platform. This is being done in partnership with the Crown Prosecution Service and Police.
