Making applications electronically for work under the Special Children Act (SCA) became mandatory on 1 February 2016.

New licensed work SCA paper applications received from this date, but not signed before 1 February 2016, will not be processed. Instead we will return them to you.

What happens next?

The system becomes mandatory for all cases on 1 April 2016. So you should start using CCMS now for other types of cases, if you havent already done so.

Were processing cases on CCMS faster than on paper as we move more staff to work on the growing amount of work youre submitting electronically.
