Land Registry

From 1 September, any post you send to our former scanning centre in Coventry will be returned to you. This may affect the priority of your applications.

In April, we announced we were moving our scanning centre from Coventry to Gloucester and provided details of the new addresses. We have been scanning post at our scanning centre in Gloucester since 27 May.

From 1 September, our former scanning centre in Coventry will become a local school so we will no longer be able to redirect any post sent there.

Please make sure you are using the correct address to send your post to our scanning centre in Gloucester, unless it falls into one of these exception categories:

  • applications for Land Charges, Agricultural Credits, Bankruptcy registrations, or if you are serving legal proceedings on Land Registry. These must be sent to the relevant exception address
  • if we have agreed to receive your First Registrations at another specified address, you should continue to send First Registrations to that address

Just in case you have not updated the addresses records you hold for us yet, here are the address details for the scanning centre in Gloucester:

Business customers DX address:

(insert your customer teams office name. If you do not have a customer team, insert the name of your closest office)

We have been scanning applications from a central site since January 2015 and we changed our central address at the end of May 2016.

We now process most work electronically, so we can easily direct it to the best place to process it and better prepare for the new digital services we are developing.

Our Business e-services offer business customers an online alternative to nearly everything they do with us by post. We recommend they send us applications online when it is important to get priority on our daylist.
