What the fund is
This fund supports the initial development of growth projects for MATs.
It is available to:
- trusts
- schools
- dioceses
- other organisations looking to establish a new MAT
We particularly encourage applications for projects relating to education investment areas.
You will be able to apply for the next round of funding between 1 March 2024 and 25 June 2024.
We have received a very high number of applications for windows 1 to 3. We expect this to reoccur in window 4. We want to remind applicants that the trust establishment and growth fund is a competitive grant, and it is possible that even high-quality applications may not be successful.
How to apply
Before you apply, you must:
- contact your regional directors office to discuss the proposal
- read the
- read the relevant trust development statement, if your project involves schools in aneducation investment area
To apply, complete the:
Email your completed application form and expenditure plan to TEG.Fund@education.gov.uk before 25 June 2024.
