Details

This Detention Services Order provides operational guidance for all Home Office, centre supplier and healthcare staff working in immigration removal centres (IRC), pre-departure accommodation (PDA) and residential short-term holding facilities (RSTHFs) and escorting staff.

This order provides guidance on how to identify possible indicators of modern slavery, refer the identified possible victim into the National Referral Mechanism and take the steps needed to ensure the individual receives the necessary support whilst detained or on release.
