Listing of community rail partnerships that have:

  • applied for accreditation
  • been awarded accreditation

Accreditation means that a partnership has met the Department for Transports, and where relevant, the Welsh Governments, standards for appropriate operation.

Designated status for community rail lines or services in England remain in place until the community rail partnerships accreditation application has been processed.

  1. Announcement of bodies awarded community rail partnership accreditation and reaccreditation status between May 2022 and December 2022 which includes new accreditation status awarded to Gloucestershire and Crew to Manchester and South East Manchester Community Rail Partnership, reaccreditation of Abbey Line, Tyne valley , Worcestershire, Kent, Bolton and South LancashireEssex and south Suffolk, Devon and Cornwall, Heart of England, Severnside, Leeds- Morecambe, Meldreth shepreth foxton, Southeast CRP, settle and Carlisle Development company, Esk Valley Development Company and Community Rail Lancashire

  2. Announcement of bodies awarded community rail partnership reaccreditation status between January 2022 and May 2022 which includes reaccreditation of North Staffordshire CRP, Hereward CRP, Derwent Valley Line CRP, Poacher Line CRP, North Cheshire CRP and High Peak and Hope Valley CRP.

  3. Announcement of bodies awarded accreditation and reaccreditation status between September and November 2021 includes new accreditation status awarded to North Notts and Lin CRP and the New River Line CRP alongside reaccreditation of Penistone CRP, Severnside CRP, Community Rail Lancashire, Transwilts CRP, Bishop Line CRP and Leeds-Morecambe CRP.

  4. Announcement of bodies awarded community rail partnership accreditation and reaccreditation status between June 2021 and September 2021. This includes new accreditation status awarded to Blackmore Vale Community Rail Partnership and reaccreditation of Community Rail Cumbria, Tyne Valley CRP,settle and Carlisle Development company, Esk Valley Development Company.

  5. Rail accreditation awarded to Heart of England Community Rail Partnership and the reaccreditation of Kent Community, Surrey Hills to South Downs Community and Southeast Communities rail partnerships.

  6. Announcement of bodies awarded community rail partnership accreditation and reaccreditation status between February 2021 and April 2021.

  7. Rail accreditation awarded to Worcestershire and North Cheshire community rail partnerships.

  8. Announcement of bodies awarded community rail partnership status between November 2019 to September 2020.

  9. Accreditation of Morecambe & North Staffordshire community plus North Staffs Line rail partnerships.

  10. Cambrian, Essex and South Suffolk, Severnside, Sussex and Tyne Valley Line community rail partnerships given accreditation.
