You must make sure that your holding details are up to date at all times.
This includes:
- your address
- your telephone number - you will not be able to use the CTS self-service helpline until you update it
- the name of your business
- where you plan to keep cattle
- the species of livestock you keep
- if you plan to stop keeping cattle
You must update these details as soon as possible (and within 30 days of them changing).
Who to contact
You must contact the Rural Payments Agency (RPA) (England) or Rural Payments Wales (RPW) to update your county parish holding (CPH) number details.
You also need to contact the:
- British Cattle Movement Service (BCMS) so your details for registering births and reporting cattle movements and deaths are correct
- Animal and Plant Health Agency (APHA) so your herd mark details are correct
