Details

The Forestry Nursery Directory helps to connect people who buy trees with nurseries who grow trees. Here you can find nurseries in your local area and across Great Britain where you can buy trees.

All nurseries on this directory are registered as a Forest Reproductive Material Supplier under the Forest Reproductive Material (Great Britain) Regulations 2002.

The Directory includes contact information, nursery size, and a short description of each nursery.

Presence on this Directory does not indicate endorsement by Forestry Commission. This list is not exhaustive.

If you run a nursery and would like to be included in the Directory, or would like to request changes to your information, please contact nursery.directory@forestrycommission.gov.uk. The Directory will be updated quarterly.

Biosecure Procurement Requirement Pilot for Plants and Trees

Remember to follow the biosecure procurement requirement that is being piloted for selected grant schemes. This requirement will make sure our green spaces are better protected from pests and diseases. It is currently being trialled for the England Woodland Creation Offer (EWCO) and Tree Health Pilot restocking grants. Those supplying trees under EWCO or the tree health pilot must already meet the biosecurity requirements set out within the industry published Plant Health Management Standard.

From the 1 July 2023 this trial will be extended to the Local Authority Treescapes Fund (LATF), Urban Tree Challenge Fund (UTCF) and HS2 Woodland Fund (HS2 WF). Visit Biosecure Procurement Requirement Pilot for Plants and Trees for more information support on how to comply with the requirement.
