The planned update of the faster indicator table Total number of electric vehicle public charging devices available in the UK, due on 08 November at 09:30 has been postponed. This is while we work with our data supplier, Zapmap, to explore and better understand developments surrounding the underlying data feeds and the impact this may have on the headline figures.

Statistics on electric vehicle charging devices in the UK, published byDfT, are produced using data supplied by the electric vehicle and charging point platformZapmap who also publish their own analysis of this data on their website.

In the majority of cases, estimates of the number charging devices published by Zapmap andDfTare broadly similar aside from some routine differences, for example differences in the date and time at which snapshots of the data are extracted. Thegeographical cove
