Open consultation: Regulating CO2 emission standards for new heavy-duty vehicles after transition

Department For Transport

July 10
13:28 2020

There are plans for a CO2 emissions regulatory scheme for new heavy-duty vehicles registered in the UK after the EU transition period ends.

We seek views on suggested:

  • implementation plans
  • operational procedures

The scheme will be implemented after the transition period ends on 31 December 2020. It aims to ensure continuity to the regulation of CO2 emissions from new heavy-duty vehicles when they are first registered in the UK.
