These guidance documents explain the requirements for the Department for Education to include:
- technical qualifications for 14- to 16-year olds in the 2024 school and college performance tables
- technical awards, technical certificates, tech levels or applied general qualifications in the key stage 4 and 16 to 18 performance tables from 2020
The next review to submit qualifications for key stage 4 (14 to 16) performance tables will be for 2027 performance tables.
We expect to publish the technical guidance and process for submitting qualifications for key stage 4 2027 performance tables in autumn 2023. We plan to open the submission process in late 2023. Sign up to alerts for this page to find out when the submission process opens.
Were not adding any new qualifications for 16- to 18-year olds to the performance tables while the post-16 qualifications review is taking place.
