The figures for the Consumer Prices Index (CPI) and CPI including owner occupiers housing costs (CPIH) in the Quarterly bus statistics, England: April to June 2022 statistical release have been revised for the last two quarters, following the discovery of an error due to the way the Office for National Statistics (ONS) CPI data was processed. This does not affect the published data on bus fares or bus patronage, but affects the CPI data used as context in the release, and published in the tables. We have therefore revised table BUS0415 and the relevant charts and text in the statistical release.
