Highlights
- Total landings by UK vessels decreased in July 2022 compared to 2021, down 8 per cent. The value of landings in July 2022 (64 million) also decreased compared to 2021 down by 6 per cent.
- Shellfish species comprised the majority of value landed in July 2022. This was driven by higher quantity of Crabs and Scallop landings which typically fetch a high price per tonne.
