On this page you will find the governments policy statement in support of the Treaty for the Provision of an Asylum Partnership between the UK and Rwanda, and the Safety of Rwanda (Asylum and Immigration) Bill.

The policy statement assesses the safety of Rwanda for the purposes of relocating individuals under the terms of the Migration and Economic Development Partnership, based on a combination of the treaty provisions and additional work conducted with the government of Rwanda.
