This guidance is for NHS bowel cancer screening staff and covers:
- the principle of informed choice
- the consent process
- people who wish to opt out of screening (temporarily)
- people who wish to be ceased from screening (permanently)
- returning someone to screening who has been ceased
- circumstances that may prevent screening
- ceasing due to ineligibility
