Dame Patricia Hodgson DBE will be stepping down from the chair of the School Teachers Review Body (STRB) at the end of May, having recently taken up her appointment as chair of Ofcom. Her letter of resignation to the Secretary of State for Education is available to download.
The STRB provides independent advice to the government on pay and conditions for teachers and school leaders in England and Wales. The Department for Education will shortly announce the details of the process to appoint a new chair.
