This map shows the stretches that are open to the public and those where work is still in progress.

  1. Map updated to show that the Tilbury to Southend-on-Sea, Southend-on-Sea to Wallasea Island and Burnham-on-Crouch to Maldon stretches are now open to the public.

  2. Map updated to show that the Sutton Bridge to Skegness stretch, and parts of the Aust to Brean Down and Aldeburgh to Hopton-on-Sea stretches, have been approved.

  3. Map updated to show that part of the Aust to Brean Down stretch is now open to the public.

  4. Map updated to show the Shoreham-by-Sea to Eastbourne stretch is now open to the public.

  5. Map updated to show that the Isle of Wight - Wootton Bridge to the Medina and Eastbourne to Camber stretches are partially approved; the Kimmeridge to Highcliffe and Cleveleys to Pier Head, Liverpool stretches are approved and are now at stage 5.

  6. Map updated to show that the Mablethorpe to Humber Bridge stretch is partially approved, and the Humber Bridge to Easington and Gosport to Portsmouth stretches are approved and are now at stage 5.

  7. Map updated to show that length 1 of the Silecroft to Silverdale stretch is now open to the public.

  8. Map updated to show the Grain to Woolwich stretch is now open to the public.

  9. Map updated to show all sections of the Bamburgh to the Scottish Border (including Holy Island), Calshot to Gosport and Salcott to Jaywick stretches now approved; 1 section of the Bawdsey to Aldeburgh stretch (length BSA3) is approved.

  10. Map updated to show that some sections of the Gretna to Allonby, Hunstanton to Sutton Bridge and Eastbourne to Camber stretches have been approved.

  11. Map updated to show that some sections of the Cleveleys to Pier Head and Harwich to Shotley Gate stretches have approval and these are at stage 4/5. The final lengths (SGF1 and SGF3) of the Shotley Gate to Felixstowe Ferry stretch have been approved and this is now at stage 5.

  12. Map updated to show: all sections of the Penzance to St Mawes stretch now approved; all sections of the Marsland Mouth to Newquay stretch now approved; 2 sections of the Birkenhead to the Welsh Border stretch (lengths BHW1 and BHW3) are approved; the Burnham-on-Crouch to Maldon and the Jaywick to Harwich stretches are approved.

  13. Map updated to show that the Maldon to Salcott stretch is now open to the public.

  14. Map updated to show the Mablethorpe to Humber Bridge and Humber Bridge to Easington stretches are now at stage 4.
