Technology Products update

Crown Commercial Service

February 18
10:09 2016

We held a series of supplier engagement events recently, in partnership with techUK, to look at how we should structure the new Technology Products agreement to meet the needs of both buyers and suppliers.

83 different supplier organisations came along including resellers, software vendors and hardware manufacturers, many of which are small businesses. Feedback was positive:

fun and informative

great innovation

We took a collaborative approach to the workshops as were keen to work with suppliers to understand what they like and dont like about the existing agreement and develop innovative ideas for the new agreement.

The new Technology Products agreement needs to be easy to use and accessible for both buyers and potential suppliers. With this in mind, the workshops focused on the structure of the agreement, the evaluation process, terms and conditions and the use of catalogues to ensure we make it as easy as possible for small businesses to get involved.

Were grateful to everyone who came along to share their ideas and look forward to suppliers continued participation in helping us shape the agreement.

We have now published the Prior Information Notice for this procurement and will be sharing the outputs from these sessions on our website shortly, so if you were unable to attend a session it isnt too late to get involved.

If you would like to join future sessions please email TPSfuture@crowncommercial.gov.uk or visit our dedicated web page to find out more.

Were also engaging with buyers to understand their requirements and are holding 2 workshops on 23 February. Find out more and register
