Details

Security scanners (SSc) approved by Department for Transport for use in aviation security. The SSc are used to screen passengers at airports to ensure they are not carrying prohibited items.

  1. -1 new equipment configuration added to the list from Smiths Detection.-1 new equipment configuration added to the list from CEIA.-1 new equipment configuration added to the list from Leidos.-10 updated equipment configurations added to the list from Rohde & Schwarz.

  2. List updated with one new equipment configuration added from CEIA, one added from Leidos, one added from Rohde & Schwarz and one updated equipment configuration added from Nuctech. Standard 1 equipment removed because no longer approved for use in the UK: AvSec policy.

  3. New entry from CEIA plus updated equipment configuration added from Nutech.

  4. Rebrand of L3 Technologies, Inc to Leidos, as well as new configurations from Leidos, Nuctech and Smiths Detection. Updated guidance on the introduction of Standard 2.1.

  5. Equipment alterations and additions for L3 Technologies plus , Inc, additions were added Rohde & Schwarz and Smiths Detection as well.

  6. New equipment configurations added from L3 Technologies, Inc and Nuctech.
