Local Sustainability Fund: 2016 first awards

The Local Sustainability Fund (LSF) will award funds to 265 small to medium-sized high-impact voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations.

The names of the first 133 are published here. The names of the remaining 132 organisations will be published shortly.

The LSF, administered by the Big Lottery Fund, is providing up to 20 million of government funding to high-impact VCSE organisations. It is targeting small to medium-sized VCSE organisations with an income of between 100,000 to 1.5 million a year, and which provide vital services to vulnerable and disadvantaged people.

The first phase of the application process closed on 26 July 2015. Over 1,000 organisations responded, approximately 400 of these were shortlisted and invited to complete a full application.
